Bean Bag Care & Safety Information

Please read this information before filling, using or caring for your bean bag cover. Always retain and follow any product-specific instructions and warning labels supplied with your cover.

FILLING YOUR BEAN BAG

Check the individual product page for the approximate amount of filling required. For the best comfort and shape, fill the cover to approximately 70–80% full. Do not overfill, as this can place unnecessary pressure on the seams and zip.

Use clean, dry bean bag filling or another suitable soft filling only. Do not fill the cover with sand, soil, stones or other hard materials.

Keep children and pets away while filling or emptying the bean bag. Clean up any spilled filling immediately and ensure the filling zip is completely closed and secured before use. Do not attach a pull tag, handle or other object to a child-resistant filling zip.

If using a separate inner liner, ensure both the liner and outer cover are securely closed before use.

OUTDOOR USE AND CARE

Our outdoor bean bag covers are designed for outdoor lounging. To help extend the life of your cover:

• Remove surface dirt promptly with a soft, damp cloth.
• Do not use bleach, harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaning products.
• Do not machine wash or tumble dry unless specifically permitted on the product’s care label.
• Allow the cover to dry completely before storing it.
• Store the bean bag under cover in a clean, dry place when it is not in use.
• Avoid prolonged exposure to heavy rain, moisture, chlorine, salt water and intense sunlight.
• Regularly inspect the fabric, seams and zips for wear or damage.

Do not use the bean bag if the cover, seams or filling zip are damaged.

POOLSIDE SAFETY

Our outdoor bean bags are intended for poolside lounging only. They are not pool floats, flotation devices, water toys or lifesaving devices.

Do not place or use the bean bag in a swimming pool, spa or any other body of water. Children must be supervised by an adult when using a bean bag near water.

IMPORTANT BEAN BAG SAFETY WARNING

WARNING: Children can suffocate if bean bag filling is swallowed or inhaled. Do not let children climb inside this bean bag. A bean bag is not a safe sleeping surface for an infant under 12 months of age.

Keep bean bag filling securely contained and out of reach of children and pets. Never allow anyone to climb inside the cover or inner liner.

Keep the bean bag and its filling away from open flames, heaters, sparks, cigarettes and other heat sources.

Inspect the bean bag before each use. Stop using it immediately if the fabric, seams, warning label or filling zip become damaged.
